What is the difference between PDF full text or EPUB full text in an EBSCO eBook record?

Answer

You will have 2 choices in many eBooks provided by EBSCO: PDF full text or EPUB full text

  • EPUP full text opens the book in your browser (no need to sign in to EBSCO). Once you close the browser or navigate away from the page, the book is returned.
  • PDF full text requires 2 things: 1) have Adobe Digital Editions on your computer or device. If you do not, ask IT support for assistance.  2)  sign into MyEBSCO. To create a personal account, click on MyEBSCO at the top right of the page and follow the prompts. The default loan period is 7 days. The book is automatically checked back in at that time.
